Rare cancer research does not specifically benefit from the general cancer funds that you may currently be donating to. Our cancers require specialized research based on their rare cell types or body sites. In order to do this type of research we, the cancer patients, often need to do our own fundraising and initiate our own research projects. Or interest a medical facilility or researcher into initiating research. This is not easy when you are already battling cancer! We need your help. » Donations must be submitted through a 501(c)(3) organization or a recognizable medical research facility.
